1. Definitions
Service means the Backlink Monitors website, application, dashboard, billing area, workspaces, projects, checks, snapshots, alerts, exports, reports and related support. Workspace means an account area used to manage projects, members, roles, billing and settings. Project means a group of backlink placements, source URLs, target URLs, expected anchors, tags, cost notes or related monitoring records. Monitoring check means a point-in-time technical observation of a URL or placement. Customer Data means data you submit, upload, import or generate in the Service.
2. The Service
Backlink Monitors helps users track known backlink placements and related technical signals. The Service may check whether a source page is reachable, whether an expected link is present, whether anchor text or link attributes changed, whether a source page is redirected, blocked, canonicalised, noindexed or otherwise technically affected, and whether an alert, export or report should be produced.
The Service is intended for lawful professional use by site owners, agencies, SEO teams, marketers and businesses that have a legitimate reason to monitor the submitted URLs and campaign data.
3. Accounts, workspaces and roles
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials and supervise activity in your workspace. A workspace owner controls billing, members, projects, settings and connected notification channels. Actions by invited users, team members or collaborators may be treated as authorised by the workspace owner.
We may require acceptance of the current Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy or related legal notices during registration, login or checkout.
4. Backlink monitoring, checks and snapshots
Monitoring results depend on source-site availability, robots directives, firewalls, CDN behaviour, redirects, canonical tags, noindex tags, page rendering, JavaScript, network conditions and third-party changes. A successful check means the Service observed a condition at that point in time. It does not guarantee that the condition will remain unchanged.
The Service may store HTML snapshots, screenshots, parsed evidence, reports, exports and technical metadata to support monitoring history, dispute review, reporting and product functionality. Snapshot retention, storage allowance and check frequency depend on your plan and usage limits.
5. Plans, billing and Stripe payments
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Current monthly plans are Starter at $9.99 per month, Growth at $39.99 per month, Pro at $139.99 per month and Agency at $349.99 per month, unless a different price is shown at checkout or agreed in writing. Prices may change for future purchases or renewals after reasonable notice where required.
Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout or in the billing area. The workspace owner is responsible for keeping payment details current and for all charges incurred by the workspace.
6. Tokens, allowances and usage limits
Plans may include limits for projects, monitored placements, scheduled checks, index checks, storage, snapshot retention, exports, alert channels, seats or related features. The interface, pricing page or checkout may show the current limits.
Backlink Monitors may offer token top-ups or internal credits for extra capacity. Unless stated otherwise in the interface, the current rate is $1 for 100 tokens, with a minimum top-up of $5. Token usage may cover extra checks, extra monitored placements or similar add-ons. Tokens are a flexible buffer, not a guarantee of unlimited processing.
7. Alerts and integrations
The Service may support alerts through Telegram, email, Slack, WhatsApp or other channels depending on plan and availability. Alerts are operational notifications only. Delivery may be affected by third-party services, account settings, spam filtering, rate limits, outages or misconfigured integrations.
8. No SEO, ranking or indexing guarantees
Backlink Monitors is not Google, Bing, any search engine, Google Search Console, a crawler database provider, a link seller or an official search-engine partner. We do not control crawling, indexing, de-indexing, rankings, traffic, penalties, link value, third-party websites or how search engines interpret links.
Reports and checks are technical observations. They do not guarantee rankings, indexing, traffic, link retention, link value, penalty recovery, campaign performance or commercial results.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to break the law, infringe rights, attack websites, bypass access controls, scrape private areas, process stolen data, submit malicious URLs, harass third parties, overload infrastructure, abuse trials or payments, or build a competing product by copying the Service.
You represent that you have the right, permission or legitimate interest to submit and monitor the URLs, domains and campaign data you add to the Service.
10. Customer data and submitted URLs
You retain rights to Customer Data. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit and display it only as needed to provide the Service, support, security, abuse prevention, billing, legal compliance and product improvement.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of submitted URLs, anchors, notes, client references and campaign records. Do not submit credentials, private keys, secrets, unnecessary personal data, special-category data or confidential information unless it is strictly necessary and lawful.
11. Refunds, cancellations and disputes
Refunds, cancellations and service credits are governed by the Refund Policy. The absence of SEO results, traffic, ranking movement, indexing, link value or third-party link retention is not by itself a ground for a refund because those outcomes are outside our control.
12. Availability, support and changes
Unless a separate written service level agreement applies, the Service is provided on a reasonable-efforts, “as is” and “as available” basis. Maintenance, third-party outages, source-site blocking, DNS/CDN issues, browser-rendering problems and search-engine changes may affect results.
We may update, add, remove or modify features, limits, integrations and pricing structures as the Service evolves.
13. Intellectual property
The Service, software, interface, design, documentation, brand and website content are protected by intellectual property rights. You may use them only as permitted by these Terms and your plan.
14. Privacy and data protection
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. If you submit personal data relating to third parties, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and providing required notices.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost rankings, lost traffic, lost revenue, lost profits, reputational damage, third-party website changes, search-engine decisions, incorrect submitted data, indirect losses or consequential losses.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, unlawful use, security risk, fraud, breach of these Terms or legal requirement. You may cancel according to the available billing controls.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
